Winter in Montpelier, Vermont

I went to visit my parents for Christmas back in December 2009, After several years of living in Texas, Vermont was quite a shock to my system. Still, it was a beautiful place, on a sunny winter day, I took my camera and walked around downtown Montpelier, getting pictures from the State House to the corner of State and Main.

Looking east on State Street. Yes, there’s a Subway in this photo. It’s the only fast food chain within the Montpelier city limits. (Even the McDonald’s is a few miles outside of town.)

Montpelier Church

A cool little church on State Street. It’s too bad there’s an old clunker of a car parked in front of it.
